The Cotton Maid

Hi, I’m Tracey and welcome to The Cotton Maid, which is a new exciting online boutique specialising and showcasing products from wonderful family owned Australian businesses.
A little bit about me, growing up I had two important ladies in my life - my Mum & Grandma. Grandma always encouraged us to learn all skills in life whether we liked them or not. I hated cows, but that didn't get me out of selling cows on the farm. Baking was something we loved to do together, but most importantly we always celebrated family and made time for each other. This being the foundation of The Cotton Maid - celebrating each other and what Australian family-owned businesses have to offer.
I live on the Darling Downs on a Cotton and Grain farm with my Husband and my one-year-old son. Like many farming families the past couple of years have been nothing short of challenging for us, going through drought for many years now to relentless flooding rains.
During that time, I realised that there were plenty of family operated small businesses out there like our family farm and I would love to be able to showcase what this beautiful country has to offer.
